Macro Trials

29 Mar

I have to admit, that I have an interest in Macro photography, but have never really given it too much thought.

Chrissy however has decided to go for Macro in more serious fashion, buying a Sigma 150 for the purpose.

With more time on our hands at the moment, the weather against working outside and Chrissy offering the loan of her glass I decided the time was right to have a little play, below are a couple from the first serious session!……

And just in case there’s any doubt as to the scale we’re working at here this is one not cropped quite so far showing a pin head in the background!…..:0

A quick addition here at Chrissy’s sugestion, this is a view of the bunch of flowers showing their relative size……

Great work!!! I love how the details of the flower just pop. I also would have never thought the flower was as small as it is if you wouldn’t have posted the photo with the pin.

I think you should take an image of the bunch of flowers that this actually came from so people can see it in context too (as well as the pin). It is truly amazing, I always thought that those sprays of white flowers were quite boring and yet how beautiful they are close up…
A great image, I think you should try some bugs next 😉

Beautiful flower in macro, and the flowers bouquet is wonderful!
