Bridgnorth in Bloom

22 Aug

And it is too!………

We are very rarely “tourists in our town” but we pass through regularly, both Chrissy and I work mostly away from home and see the sights only during shopping trips or if we are eating out…..:(

Last weekend is the first weekend that I haven’t been working since we came back from holiday so decided that it would be good to spend some time locally (and together 😉 )………..

The weather helped too, taking pics is always good with a blue background!………:)

My overriding thoughts throughout our walkabout was how wonderful a job our council had made of the flower arrangements, but I couldn’t help wondering if I would have been pleased to know which ones I’d bought with my council tax?……:) ……maybe I should ask if they can put labels on next year????…………

But then of course all the above is not only due to the council but most of the residents in “High Town” also spend loads of time and effort to brighten our environment too!……:)

This my “Thank You” for ALL the effort to make my home town the pleasant place to live that it is!…………………………………..

You live in a very beautiful part of our world Andy. Delightfully filled with history, wonderful buildings and amazing flowers and skies.
