Hello Andy – and Chrissy. I have just been admiring the two of your artistry and love of Skiathos. We bought our own Skiathos villa in 2007 and currently stay about 10 weeks a Year (Xmas/New Year, Easter, June & August). We have also met the artist and walk experts Chrissy mentions in her blog and Kechria is our most favorite beach. What struck me about your Skiathos photography is just how much we miss of its natural beauty and it reminded me of my wifes favorite poem ‘What is this life if full of care We have no time to stand and stare?’ by William Henry Davies 1871 – 1940.
Your work has inspired me to improve my own photography and live up to the Canon EOS 7D that I currently tinker with!
I would especially like to nail a shot like yours of the swifts that drink from our pool and the insects that vist our well stocked gardens too. Capturing insects in flight like you is a dream skill for me also.

    Hi Andy,

I wanted to use one of your images as a background to a website – would you charge for this?
